London Summit: Windey's Voice - Jointly Exploring New Pathways for Global Energy Transition with 'Chinese Solutions'

Time:2025-10-24 Number:0 From:Windey

On October 14 local time, Chen Qi, Chairman of Windey Energy Technology Group (Windey), was invited to attend the 2025 BloombergNEF London Summit and delivered a keynote speech at the main forum. During the summit, Chen Qi and his delegation also visited the BloombergNEF (BNEF) London headquarters and held in-depth discussions with the senior leadership team.

As one of the most influential high-end summits in the global new energy sector, this year's BNEF London Summit brought together representatives from major global energy companies, financial institutions, and policymakers to conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as clean energy investment, green fuel development, and the integration of AI with energy systems. In his keynote speech at the main forum, Chen Qi systematically elaborated on the profound transformation of the current global energy landscape. He pointed out that global clean energy investment in 2024 has exceeded USD 2 trillion, with clean energy installed capacity surpassing half of the global total for the first time, thus marking clean energy as the dominant force in global energy development. He further noted that as of the present, China's cumulative installed capacity of renewable energy has reached 1.889 billion kilowatts, accounting for 56% of the national total, with wind power installed capacity reaching 521 million kilowatts, maintaining a global leading position. He stated that the energy revolution featuring a low-carbon economy is reshaping global industrial chains and manufacturing systems, while also presenting significant opportunities for the innovative development of China's wind power industry.

In his speech, Chen Qi highlighted Windey's innovative achievements and global strategic layout in the global renewable energy sector. He pointed out that future energy transition will be driven by two major trends: on one hand, the explosion of artificial intelligence and computing power demands will give rise to new energy structures, with stable, clean, and scalable green power systems becoming the core pillar of the digital economy; on the other hand, carbon-neutral synthetic fuels represented by green methanol will become a new growth pole in the energy system. Based on this, Windey is actively promoting two practical pathways: 'Green Power + Computing Power' and 'Green Power to Green Methanol', deepening the integration and innovation between wind power and the fields of hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, etc.

During the summit, Chen Qi and his delegation also made a special visit to the London headquarters of BNEF, engaging in in-depth discussions with BNEF's CEO and global executive team on topics such as renewable energy investment trends, data collaboration, and Sino-European green supply chain coordination. Both parties agreed to further strengthen information sharing and innovative collaboration, driving the global energy system toward a more open, transparent, and sustainable direction. Chen Qi noted that the UK, as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and a key hub for energy innovation in Europe, holds significant potential for collaboration with China in green industrial transformation. Windey is willing to work hand-in-hand with European partners from all sectors to deepen technological R&D, mutual standard recognition, and supply chain coordination, jointly building a new framework for Sino-European renewable energy cooperation.

By actively participating in global energy dialogues and continuously strengthening international cooperation, Windey is injecting steady and robust 'Chinese strength' into the global energy transition through innovative practices in the integrated development of 'Wind Power + Green Energy'.
