BELEM, Brazil — The 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) convened this week in Belem, Brazil. Windey Energy Technology Group, representing China’s clean energy industry, joined both the main forum and several side events, where the company outlined the responsibilities and actions of Chinese new energy enterprises in advancing the global energy transition and enhancing South–South cooperation. At the main forum, Yu Yong, General Manager of Windey International, delivered a keynote speech titled “From Energy Transition to Productivity Revolution: How Green and Intelligent Technologies Shape Future Civilization.” He highlighted the transformative impact of the energy transition on global productivity systems. Yu emphasized that as global computing demand continues to surge, a stable, economical, and scalable green power system is becoming essential infrastructure for the digital and intelligent economy. Green power not only meets rapidly expanding electricity needs but also enables computing growth to align with low-carbon objectives—ensuring that technological progress does not come at the expense of the climate. Over the past two decades, clean energy technologies have made major breakthroughs in cost and reliability, and Yu noted that the next mission is to establish green power as a long-term foundation for intelligent and inclusive development worldwide.
Windey has expanded its global footprint through an integrated development model combining wind power and green energy, building localized cooperation networks across Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. During the panel on the China–Brazil Green Trade Partnership, participants agreed that Chinese new energy enterprises are evolving from equipment suppliers into comprehensive partners for sustainable development. In Brazil, Windey has not only delivered advanced wind power technologies and a complete industrial supply chain but has also deepened local capacity building, exemplified by its collaboration with CIMATEC. At the same time, Windey’s renewable energy projects in Saudi Arabia demonstrate the company’s technical capabilities and partnership strength in complex international markets. The company is further expanding green power into a broader clean energy system, including hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia, underscoring the feasibility of a green-powered, intelligent, and low-carbon future.
